Your wedding day is one of the most important milestones in your life, so why leave it to chance? Planning a wedding or event involves a lot of time, organization and know-how. Our goal at Spectacular Soirees Wedding & Event Planning is to provide the most personal, detailed and customized service to each client. We want you to have the event you have envisioned, without all the stress that usually comes along with it. We will work with your budget--you give us $1, we will make it look like two! We offer three service levels as a starting point, but customize each proposal to our client’s needs (specific details, expectations and responsibilities cited in the individual contract).

Spectacular Soirees has orchestrated and developed events in many different locations. Currently based in Terre Haute, Indiana, Janice Board's clients typically hail from Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Chicago, the surrounding southern Indiana region, and Southeastern Illinois. However, destination weddings and events are a subspecialty. You will want the best person for the job, regardless of location, and Janice Board of Spectacular Soirees is that person.

We begin with our minimum service level (Lend a Hand) and add services on top of that, as needed. Minimum service level begins at $1000.00. We encourage you to set up a no obligation consultation, either in person or on the telephone, to determine how we can best meet your needs and give you a Spectacular Soiree!

LEND A HAND Service: Generally referred to as a “Day of” or “Week of” package. The Planner will confirm with vendors, help the couple create a wedding day timeline, and handle all wedding day details for the week leading up to your big day, as well as be on site on the day you are married.

DETAILS, DETAILS Service: Consulting package where the Planner will recommend venues and vendors, offer advice on colors and style, provide etiquette advice and help the couple stay on track with their planning, but will not handle legwork and small details. On the wedding day, the Planner will interact with the vendors and make sure the day goes smoothly.

KIT & KABOODLE Service: Full service package for your special day. The Planner will help set the style and colors, assist you in finding ceremony and reception venues, recommend vendors, accompany the couple to food and cake tasting (where appropriate), screen vendor contracts and put in a full day troubleshooting, handling the last minute details of the wedding day and keeping the event on schedule.

DESTINATION WEDDINGS: Spectacular Soirees does do Destination Weddings and will be happy to help you with yours! Janice has traveled around the world and is comfortable seeking out new places and items that will enhance your special day. For destination weddings, the Planner customizes a fee accordingly. All travel related expenses would need to be covered by the client as well. For your wedding far away from home, Janice will be certain to make it the most accommodating and detailed celebration for both you and your guests.
